Elevate Volvo S60 Performance Rear Sway Bar

Probably the most common mod, an upgraded rear sway bar really does transform the vehicle’s handling characteristics. Most notably, there is a difference when handling around corners and a reduction in understeer (which may seem counterintuitive since this is stiffening the rear, but since this is a FWD-biased chassis it affects this, too!). Overall, anecdotally I would also say that despite the increased stiffness, the chassis ride has become less harsh. There’s just something to be said about getting it dialed in just right, which I think Elevate took the time to do. This is just slightly beefier than the uprated Polestar sway bar; I would pair with the Polestar endlinks even on a regular P3. Compared to the other offerings on the market, I think this powder coat finish has stood the test of time slightly better than the others I’ve seen. I also prefer the bushings which include the ability to re-grease the bushings without removing them, which is a nice little time-saver if they ever squeak. Over 25K miles later, I can say this is definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
