**PT Motorsport CAN Bus IO Expander Mini – Compact ECU Input/Output Expansion**Compact IO expander emulating Haltech IO 12 box behavior in a space-efficient design. Perfect for installations where space constraints limit the use of full-size expansion modules while maintaining essential I/O functionality. Compatible with Haltech, Link, MaxxECU, and ECU Master systems**Key Specifications:** – 4x 0V-5V analog inputs – 4x digital inputs (on/off state only) – 4x digital pulsed outputs – Mode selection: Change from IO Box A or B by soldering across the “AB” solder bridge**Includes:** – IO Expander Mini board – 2x 4-position connectors – 1x 5-position connector – 1x 6-position connector – 19x terminals – 3D printed case with mounting hardware – 4x SMD pullup resistors**Technical Limitations:** – Output current: 200mA limit per channel – Output modes: State or PWM only (490Hz or 980Hz) – no frequency drive – Analog inputs: 0V-5V range with 12V input protection – Digital inputs: State only (on/off) – no frequency measurements, pull to ground**Configuration Notes:** – Pullup resistors can be added for analog inputs by soldering included SMD resistors across relevant pads – Link, MaxxECU, and ECU Master may require custom CAN bus programming or Arduino code modification**Installation Advantage:** Compact design allows mounting in locations where standard modules won’t fit, making it ideal for space-critical motorsport and performance applications.Use with ECUs other than Haltech may require custom programming via Arduino.
