Description OptiBac Babies & Children is a unique formulation that includes a unique blend of three scientifically researched strains, which makes it suitable for babies and children aged 0 to 12 years. Additionally, it contains FOS fibres and extra Vitamin D3, which help maintain immune health. Contains L. rhamnosus GG, the most scientifically studied strain in the world. Suitable for use from birth to 12 years, with strains of friendly bacteria natural to a child’s gut. Shown to survive stomach acidity and reach the gut alive. It also contains added Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) fibres to increase natural gut bacteria and Vitamin D3 to maintain immune health. Suitable for those on vegetarian, dairy-free or gluten-free diets. No added sugars, artificial flavours or colours. This powder format is simple to use and has no flavour. You can take it on its own or mix it into non-acidic food or drinks. No refrigeration is necessary. How to use: Best taken with a meal, preferably with breakfast. It is also recommended to drink plenty of water with your course of live cultures. Simply mix with your child’s favourite cool, non-acidic foods or drinks – for example, try sprinkling the powder over cereal, mixing it with yogurt, or dissolving it in water or milk. For best results, add the product to formula milk once it has cooled to room temperature. Heat can reduce the effectiveness of the natural bacteria. For breastfed babies, the powder can be applied to the nipple or a clean finger for baby to suckle. Infants from birth to 12 years: 1 sachet per day. Intake can be increased to 2 sachets per day.
