Description Tasectan AF Paed is a clinically proven safe and effective anti-diarrhoea treatment for children between 3 months and 14 years. Tasectan works differently to other anti-diarrhoea medications. It forms a thin biofilm that protects the intestinal wall, reduces inflammation and restricts harmful bacterial growth, restoring gut function. Tasectan is a safe treatment with no side effects for babies and children and is usually effective within 12 hours. It restores the physiological functions of the gut wall and will shorten the duration of diarrhoea. This is only designed to stop diarrhoea so remember to give plenty of fluids as it won’t prevent dehydration. How to use: Sachet powder can be added to food or mixed with a small quantity of milk, fruit juice or water at room temperature. Mix well and give immediately. Babies & Children under 2 years: Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. Children under 3: 1 sachet every 6 hours until the symptoms disappear. Children between 3 and 14 years: 1 – 2 sachets every 6 hours until the symptoms disappear. Children aged 14-18 years: 2 sachets every 6 hours until the symptoms disappear.
