Description Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo is recommended for dry scaly scalp conditions, such as psoriasis, seborrhoeic dermatitis, cradle cap and dandruff. Capasal contains 3 ingredients for a triple action on the scalp: Salicylic acid to loosen and soften scales, Distilled coal tar has anti-itch and keratoplastic properties, and may help reduce the abnormal thickness of the epidermis and Coconut oil softens and moisturises the skin on the scalp Directions: External Use Only. Keep the undiluted shampoo, and the lather, away from the eyes. For adults, the elderly, children, infants and babies: Use as a shampoo, daily if necessary. Wet the hair thoroughly. Massage a small amount of the shampoo into the scalp, leaving it on for a few minutes before washing out. Repeat, producing a rich lather. Rinse hair well and dry. Do not use if you are allergic to salicylic acid, coconut oil, distilled coal tar or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Do not exceed the stated dose, seek immediate medical advice in the event of an overdose. Like all medicines, Capasal Therapeutic Shampoo can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you think you have any side effects or symptoms, stop using this medicine immediately and see a doctor as soon as possible. The active ingredients are salicylic acid (0.5% w/w), coconut oil (1.0% w/w) and distilled coal tar (1.0% w/w). The other ingredients are lauric acid diethanolamide, coco amido propyl dimethyl betaine solution, triethanolamine lauryl sulfate solution, ammonium sulfate, phenoxyethanol and water.
