Description Bonjela is a clear antiseptic gel that quickly relieves the pain and discomfort of teething, mouth ulcers, and cold sores and aids in the healing of sore spots and ulcers due to dentures and braces. Directions: For topical oral use only. Not to be used in infants under four months. Adults: Using a clean finger, massage approximately one centimetre of the gel onto the sore area, not more than once every 3 hours. For Denture irritation apply and leave at least 30 minutes before re-insertion of the dentures. Do not apply this product directly to the dentures. Children from 4 months: Using a clean finger, massage a pea-sized amount of gel onto the sore area, not more than once every 3 hours. Do not apply more than six doses in any 24 hour period. Not suitable for infants under four months. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT BONJELA TEETHING GEL Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days seek medical advice. Not to be used in patients with hypersensitivity to salicylates, aspirin, NSAIDs, cetyl pyridinium, or any of the excipients. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or if you or your child are taking any other prescription medications, regular medicines, or receiving regular treatment. If symptoms persist consult your doctor. Prolonged use without medical supervision may be harmful. Like all medicines, Bonjela can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. If you think you have any side effects or symptoms, stop using this medicine immediately and see a doctor as soon as possible. Always read the leaflet. Keep out of reach of children. INGREDIENTS: choline salicylate 8.714%w/w, cetalkonium chloride 0.010% w/w, ethanol, glycerol, levomenthol, hypromellose 4500, star anise oil (d-Limonene, anisyl alcohol, linalool), sodium saccharin, and purified water.
